Right when Im only just starting to learn? The whole world is against me! Welcome to life. You have to find a new career path now.

What AI means for Frontend Developers

AI is reasonably good at coding. It struggles to understand projects with large contexts and complex requirements, but for simple things like frontend, it more or less can get it right. And thats why frontend developers will be first to go. AI is so easy any layman can ask AI "code me a website", and receive something 80% of the way done in just a matter of seconds. The emphasis is not so much on coding, as much as it is on creativeness, as cliché as it sounds.

Design

That's why web designers should learn to do just that: Design. Good design requires the designer to understand the brand, the target audience, the product, etc. This is a nuance that AI may not be able to get. Communicating with different stakeholders to come up with the design is what sets apart a good designer from the rest.
